The name Bleubaïa draws inspiration from Bleu Bahia, a rare and elegant Brazilian marble known for its deep blue tones and fluid, natural veining. It evokes the depth and mystery of the ocean, capturing the essence of marine landscapes and seashell textures in its unique patterns.

But Bleubaïa is also a tribute to the legendary sunken city of Baia, near Naples, Italy. Once a luxurious Roman resort, Baia now rests beneath the waves, a place of ancient beauty and mysterious stories. Its submerged ruins remind us of the eternal bond between humanity and the sea, a bond that inspires our every creation.

Our exclusive prints are inspired by the intricate textures of seashells, the organic patterns of nature, and the ever-changing reflections of light on water. Designed and hand-drawn by our founder, each print is a personal tribute to the ocean. Every detail is a celebration of marine life and the natural world, crafted to bring you serenity, grace, and a sense of immersion in a timeless, oceanic universe.

Our swimwear is crafted from Repreve®—a high-quality fiber made from recycled ocean-bound plastic bottles—and organic cotton. Each order comes in a reusable calico pouch. Shipping is plastic-free, using compostable bags made from corn starch and biopolymers. Our packaging is recyclable, with kraft paper and BPA/BPS-free labels. Every material is chosen with care—for a lighter impact on the planet.

We partner with two small, ethical workshops in Bali that prioritize fair working conditions and employee well-being. Once ready, products are packed and shipped from France by a family-run team committed to responsible and mindful practices. 🌊
